With the release of SpoofCard 7.1.0, we're introducing our first-ever Referral Program—a simple way to invite friends and earn 5 FREE credits when they join.
This first version is intentionally simple. Our goal is to make sharing easy while learning how customers naturally refer others so we can build an even better referral experience in future releases.
How It Works
Getting rewarded only takes three simple steps.
Step 1: Share Your Referral
Open SpoofCard and navigate to:
More → Earn Free Credits
You'll receive your own unique referral code that you can easily share with friends using your favorite messaging app.
Choose either:
- Share Link to open your phone's sharing options or
- Copy Link to paste your referral anywhere.
Then invite as many friends as you'd like!
Step 2: Your Friend Signs Up
Your friend downloads SpoofCard and creates a new account.
After creating their account, they simply open:
Settings → Enter Referral Code
They'll enter the referral code you shared.
Version 1 uses manual referral code entry rather than automatic referral tracking so we can build the best experience based on real customer feedback.
Step 3: You Both Get Rewarded
Once the referral is validated:
✅ You receive 5 FREE credits and
✅ Your friend receives 5 FREE credits!
That's it! Both of you are rewarded for connecting through SpoofCard.
Referral Program Rules
To keep the program fair for everyone, a few simple rules apply.
1. Referral Code Expiration
Referral codes remain active for 7 days after they're generated.
2. New Users Only
Referral codes must be entered within 72 hours of creating a new SpoofCard account.
This ensures referral rewards are reserved for brand-new users.
3. One Code, One Reward
Each referral code can only be redeemed once.
4. Referral Reward Limit
Each SpoofCard user can earn rewards for up to 5 successful referrals.
Built to Keep Rewards Fair
We've designed the referral program with several safeguards to prevent misuse while keeping the experience simple for legitimate users.
Our system automatically verifies:
- Referral code validity
- Code expiration
- Duplicate redemption attempts
- Referral reward limits
- Eligible new accounts
Once everything checks out, rewards are automatically added to both accounts.
Why We Started Simple
Instead of launching a complicated referral system with deep linking and third-party tracking, we chose to build a simpler Version 1.
This allows us to better understand:
- How often users share SpoofCard
- Which sharing methods people prefer
- How many friends successfully redeem referral codes
- Where users experience friction during the referral process
These insights will help us prioritize improvements for future versions.
